This is a full day tour (from 8am to 4pm)and covers some of the most beautiful places of the Amalfi Coast. A mix of history, nature and enchanting little villages. Our chaffeur will come to pick you up at your hotel/port with our minivan, first pit stop Pompeii (you can hire a licenced guide yourself at the entrance of the site or if you wish we can arrange  it  for you . We strongly recommend to hire one  It's approx. 2,5 hrs tour!

 

When the volcano buried the ancient Roman city of Pompeii under a thick carpet of volcanic ash. The dust “poured across the land” like a flood, one witness wrote, and shrouded the city in “a darkness…like the black of closed and unlighted rooms.” Two thousand people died, and the city was abandoned for almost as many years. When a group of explorers rediscovered the site in 1748, they were surprised to find that–underneath a thick layer of dust and debris–Pompeii was mostly intact. The buildings, artifacts and skeletons left behind in the buried city have taught us a great deal about everyday life in the ancient world.

 

The tour will continue towards Mounth Vesuvius, your chaffeur will take you almost to the top of the Volcano, where in 40 min walking you can get to the peak of the Volcano and join the breathtaking view of all the bay of Naples.

 

The tour will continue towards the breathtaking seaside road to Sorrento  the town of the oranges and lemons.  Your chaffeur will drop you off to  take a stroll through the downtown, where you can do some shopping and  lunch.  Here in Sorrento you can taste the original Pizza cooked in the real wood burning oven or the typical local food.

 

The tour will end at the port or Hotel in the afternoon at 17:00.
